technical difficulties! :(

ugh.. 2 computer crashes in a week! got a new tablet PC -- had to return it after one day! then my main desktop PC (with all of my art, important files, etc) had a hard drive crash!! the repair shop said they were able to recover some data -- hoping it wasn't too bad! ..that means that i'll be doing more artwork in my sketchbook (pencils, pens, etc) and posting it via my iPhone

 ** as for artwork of the day -- i managed to use my iPhone to upload sketches to my Facebook page the past few days.. i'll upload those here as well shortly (stay tuned!)

'Plastic green cup' -- digital painting; study done for color, particularly for the caustic light and shadow -- this was done in 45 min using Art Rage

** i was sitting at my computer -- thinking about what to create today-- and i saw my favorite water cup, which is a green plastic cup, and i liked how the light created this caustic pattern on the table.. so i arranged it near my Cintiq -- and painted it in 45 min using Art Rage. (one layer, 95% was just one brush-- an oil paint variant.. and then pastel at end to create the patterns in the background)
