WIP - Fall #1 (update 2)
..what I've been doing lately-- is using my digital art paintings as 'studies' (and reference art) for creating the traditional paintings on canvas. Here you can see a Fall painting that I created using Art Rage and I'm in the process of creating that on canvas, using Oil Pastels.
Not only does this give me a prior working knowledge of the subject matter, but I've already worked out the color/composition and I'm familiar with the brush strokes and other details.

working in my studio on this rainy Seattle day.. here is very early progress (sketching phase) of a painting I'm going to work on using oil pastels -- more to come!
