Digital abstract art -- created using Painter 15

Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack

..one of the games that I'm working on (Art Director) is now out. I also worked on designing this box cover (concept art/layout).. Cool to see it in physical form!

Maya character - Killer Instinct: Season 2 (in action)

This is one of the characters (Maya) that I helped create/design for Killer Instinct: Season 2 -- we revealed the concept art for her a few months ago, and this is a teaser/trailer that shows her in-game as part of season 2.

Digital>Traditional process

Lately, I've been exploring a process of using my digital art to 'ideate' for the purpose of turning these into traditional paintings. I have done this for landscapes and now I'm working on a series of abstracts that combine figurative elements.

A few nights ago, I couldn't sleep.. got up at 11:30pm and worked on a digital painting/idea (in the attached image) until 2am. Over the weekend, I started on the traditional painting - here is a 'sneak peek' below that shows the early process.. at this point, I've only spent 30 minutes on this -- doing a quick Acrylic wash/under painting. More updates to come!
